Debbie Waller is an experienced, hypnotherapist with a real interest in people and a strong drive to help them make their lives better. Her approach is practical and effective, and focusses on what you want your therapy to achieve.

Debbie specialises in working with anxiety, although she can also help with a wide variety of other issues, including sleep disorders, smoking cessation, lack of direction or motivation, generalised anxiety or worrying, PTSD, pain control, public speaking, confidence and self esteem and phobias such as a fear of flying or spiders.

She has specialist training in working with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) - the effectiveness of using hypnotherapy with this condition is widely recognised.

Debbie is registered with the GHR as a Senior and Advanced Hypnotherapy Practitioner, the highest level of membership available, as well as belonging to a number of other professional organisations. She is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) for hypnotherapy

She works with adults and children over ten.

As well as seeing clients, Debbie offers a range of services for other therapists including practitioner level training, CPD, and supervision. She is the editor of the Hypnotherapy Journal, the author of Their Worlds, Your Words, co-author of the Hypnotherapy Handbook, and speaks at hypnotherapy conventions.

Debbie has been a hypnotherapist since 2003, and holds a number of qualifications which include:
•BA (Hons), First Class, in Humanities and Social Studies (Psych/Lit), Leeds Metropolitan University
•Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy from Sunnycoast Hypnotherapy Training

Fees & Availability

If you are not sure whether hypnotherapy is right for you, or want to ask more about my services, I offer an optional information session which is free of charge.

If you decide to go ahead with therapy, session fees start at £65, although programmes are available for some issues (such as smoking cessation) and discounts are offered for blocks of sessions paid for in advance.

Availability may occasionally vary depending on my training commitments, but I offer both weekday and out-of-hours options. Please check the website or contact me for current days/times.

Further Information

As well as hypnotherapy, Debbie offers stress management coaching, and EMDR.

Debbie sees all her clients in her clinic in Normanton, which is situated close to Junction 31 of the M62 and easily accessible from Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract and the surrounding areas.

The clinic is open by appointment only, so please contact Debbie by phone or emailbefore calling in. She is happy to answer any questions you might have about how hypnotherapy can be used to help you.

A free information session usually lasts around 30-45 minutes.
A first therapy session is one and a half to two hours, subsequent sessions are around an hour.
All clients are provided with an audio to listen to at home.
